Curator’s Note on Physics & Operation:

The atmospheric micro-bubble within the glass chamber is a deliberate feat of engineering; this pocket of air provides the necessary resistance to slow the sand, creating its signature, mesmerizing cascade. Additionally, as with all high-end inductive technology, a gentle thermal warmth emitted from the base during wireless charging is a completely natural byproduct of seamless energy transfer.
